My studies as a visual artist began when I was 30 years of age and evolved directly out of my work in classical music. While I hold a fine arts degree (honors) as a classical pianist, I have no degree or formal training in my visual work. I have a "learn-by-doing" education in visual art because the concept that I am working with as a visual artist, and the subsequent physical realities that result from it are not yet taught in any formal institution.
